Allergy First fees vary depending on the type of consultation and allergy testing required, with Medicare rebates available for eligible services. The below is a guide. Our team will confirm your expected fees before your appointment.
Allergy medical consultation – $100 out of pocket after Medicare rebate
Sneezing, runny or blocked nose, coughing, itchy or watery eyes, sinus issues or general hay fever symptoms
- Allergy medical consultation + aeroallergen skin prick testing
Consultation bulk billed
Testing fee: $366
Medicare rebate: $39.65
Suspected food allergy – for example, swelling or itching of the face, lips, tongue or throat, hives, rash, or other symptoms after eating certain foods
- Allergy medical consultation + food allergy skin prick testing
Consultation bulk billed
Testing fee: $410
Medicare rebate: $87.10
Both environmental/hay fever symptoms AND suspected food allergy symptoms
- Allergy medical consultation + combined aeroallergen and food allergy skin prick testing
Consultation bulk billed
Testing fee: $465
Medicare rebate: $39.65
Persistent or recurring rashes that may be triggered by contact with makeup, perfume, jewellery, skincare products or other potential allergens or irritants
- Allergy medical consultation + patch testing
Consultation bulk billed
Testing fee: $435
Medicare rebate: $71.45

Not every patient will require allergy testing. Medicare rebates are subject to eligibility and applicable Medicare requirements.
