Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction which can potentially be life threatening. Anaphylaxis occurs after an exposure has occurred to an allergen to which a person is allergic. Due to the fact that anaphylaxis should always be treated as a medical emergency, it is important to recognize the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis

Symptoms of anaphylaxis can include Difficult or noisy breathing, eyes/face/lips/tounge swelling, throat swelling or tightness, difficulty speaking, w...wheezing or persistent coughing, dizziness, collapse, pale and floppy presentation (in children), hives or welts, and abdominal pain/vomiting.
